Course Description

This case study examines the disappearance of 32 Iranian seafarers following collision between the Mt Sachi and CF Crystal in the east China Sea, about 160 nautical miles east of Shanghai. This collision with loss of 32 lives and subsequent sinking of Sachi and spill its oil cargo along with fuel. This is one of the disastrous collision at sea in the last decade.
