Outcomes

1. Understand methanol as a marine fuel, its key hazards, and safe handling requirements.
2. Identify methanol tanker/bunkering operations using a DNV class-approved cloud-based simulator
3. Apply human factors principles, including safe behaviour, effective communication, and situational awareness.
4. Understand client/yard/VOC compatibility requirements and vessel-arrival preparedness expectations.
5. Identify and verify bunkering locations, including manifolds, control stations, HSEQ setup, and mooring/port interfaces.
6. Demonstrate onsite readiness through ESD/DCS checks, communication protocols, emergency procedures, and stop-work authority.
