Course Description

Develop understanding of global trade flows, shipping networks, multimodal transport and the ship–port interface within maritime supply chains

Outcomes

Participants will be able to map cargo-flow and logistics processes, reference IMDG/FAL requirements, and assess supply-chain disruption and resilience factors, including UAE connectivity.

Requirements

Basic understanding of maritime terminology, port/terminal operations, cargo-handling processes, and the UAE maritime industry, with the ability to understand basic operational data and KPIs; no prior professional maritime experience is required.
