Course Description
Introduce smart port concepts, terminal automation technologies (TOS, IoT, AI, digital twins) and associated cybersecurity considerations.
Outcomes
Participants will be able to describe digitalisation and automation trends in ports, and identify eNavigation and cyberrisk management practices relevant to smart terminals.

Requirements
Basic understanding of maritime terminology, port/terminal operations, cargo-handling processes, and the UAE maritime industry, with the ability to understand basic operational data and KPIs; no prior professional maritime experience is required.
