Overview
Course Description

This course provides participants with the knowledge and practical awareness required to safely plan, prepare for, and conduct enclosed space entries. It covers hazard identification, risk assessment, atmospheric testing, permit-to-work requirements, ventilation, personal protective equipment, communication procedures, and emergency response measures in accordance with industry best practices and international maritime safety guidelines.

Requirements
  • Basic understanding of shipboard operations and safety procedures.
  • Suitable for seafarers, shore-based personnel, supervisors, and individuals involved in enclosed space operations.
  • Familiarity with the use of PPE and safety equipment is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • No prior enclosed space entry certification is required.
