Course Description

Introduce data-driven decisionmaking in ports, covering KPI frameworks, data quality, dashboards and descriptive/predictive analytics.

Outcomes

Participants will be able to interpret port performance data and dashboards, and describe how predictive analytics support berth/capacity planning and predictive maintenance.

IMO digitalisation initiatives; cyber-risk guidance; relevant industry standards.

Requirements

Basic understanding of maritime terminology, port/terminal operations, cargo-handling processes, and the UAE maritime industry, with the ability to understand basic operational data and KPIs; no prior professional maritime experience is required.
