Outcomes

1. Plan and prepare safe bunkering operations using risk assessments and pre-bunkering checks.
2. Execute and monitor fuel transfer safely, including ship/shore communication and operational controls.
3. Identify and respond to abnormal conditions and bunkering emergencies.
4. Complete post-bunkering procedures, including sampling, verification and documentation.
5. Apply safe decision-making and teamwork during practical bunkering operations.
6. Recognise Human Factors and PIFs affecting bunkering safety and performance.
