Course Description

Build understanding of port safety and security frameworks (ISPS, SOLAS) and operational resilience practices including crisis management and business continuity.

Outcomes

Participants will be able to apply port riskassessment and ship– shore interface safety principles, and outline emergency response and businesscontinuity procedures.

SOLAS; ISPS; ISM; IMDG; ILO Code of Practice: Safety and Health in Ports (Revised 2016); IMO security guidance.

Requirements

Basic understanding of maritime terminology, port/terminal operations, cargo-handling processes, and the UAE maritime industry, with the ability to understand basic operational data and KPIs; no prior professional maritime experience is required.
