Course Description

This course provides comprehensive knowledge of maritime cyber security awareness, focusing on protecting shipboard IT and OT systems from evolving digital threats and vulnerabilities. It covers cyber risk management principles, common cyber threats such as phishing, malware, GPS spoofing, cyber incident response, recovery procedures, and ship cyber security planning in line with industry best practices and regulatory expectations. Participants will gain practical understanding of cyber hygiene, threat detection, risk mitigation, contingency planning, and crew responsibilities in maintaining cyber resilience onboard. The training emphasizes awareness, preparedness, compliance, and integration of cyber risk management into vessel safety management systems.
