Course Description

Develop working knowledge of core maritime safety and security frameworks (SOLAS, ISM/SMS, STCW, ISPS) and the human factors influencing safety culture.

Outcomes

Participants will be able to identify safety/security compliance requirements, recognise humanfactor risks, and outline emergency preparedness and incident-management procedures.

Requirements

Basic understanding of maritime terminology, port/terminal operations, cargo-handling processes, and the UAE maritime industry, with the ability to understand basic operational data and KPIs; no prior professional maritime experience is required.
